Trade Mark Disputes
The Trade Marks Office is responsible for registration of trade marks but not for their protection. This responsibility falls to the owner of the mark. If someone uses your trade mark without permission, you should contact Lord and Company as soon as possible.
If you are able to prove you were the “first to use” a trade mark in relation to particular goods or services, you may have the rights to that mark over a competitor who was “first to file” for registration of the trade mark.
