INTA Conference in Seattle
Kelvin Lord and his wife, Oana, attended the INTA conference
in Seattle in
May, 2009. The INTA President, Richard Heath, welcomed the audience from around
the world and set the theme "The Protection of Trade Marks and
Intellectual Property in the New Economic Climate."
He then introduced the guest keynote speaker, Elle McPherson, business
woman, model and actress. Elle's speech was simple and her message was very
clear -"in this economic culture, the way to succeed is to be true to
yourself and to your values, to set goals and keep them simple." In Australian
terminology, her message was to be "True Blue and Fair Dinkum".
At the cocktail party which followed, Oana congratulated Elle on her
contribution and "Aussie" Approach.
